Russ Emanuel is the Lead Pastor at Olive Grove Church in Clinton, NC. He & his wife, Chrissy, began their journey of starting a new church in 2011. Beginning with only 3 families they have witnessed God grow this ministry in a phenomenal way.
For the first year Olive Grove Church was portable, until purchasing their first of multiple owned properties in the heart of their city, late 2012. Since then God has expanded our reach to move beyond just a physical location as we also meet digitally with our online Church family.
Our pastors possess a sincere passion to see the lives of people changed and raised to a new life in Christ and we believe this happens through the Good News of the Gospel.

Here's what we believe at Olive Grove Church:
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News that changes and transforms lives by receiving the life of Christ. We believe Grace is a person His name is Jesus! God sent His son that we might live the abundant life in Christ that was planned for us all along through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Excellence: We will always bring our best to honor God and inspire others by serving as a team. We believe if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
Local Church: Olive Grove Church is a diverse group who experience God’s family through community. We believe the Local Church is a big deal, therefore we will invest our lives by giving of our time, talent, and treasure to build the Church.
Creative: We believe God is big, so we dream big. We will not limit God with a mediocre mindset; therefore we will aggressively pursue God’s purpose passionately and creatively.
Grace: God demonstrated his love for us through the greatest gift ever given, Jesus. The gift of Grace allows Jesus to live in us and through us to accomplish all the good things the Father had planned for us all along. Grace moves us from servants to Sons!
Generosity: We will lead the way with Grace-filled generosity. Grace conditions our heart to given as a result of what we were given. This inward transformation creates an outward expression where generosity is viewed as an opportunity and not an obligation.
Fun: We will enjoy the journey by laughing hard, loud, and often! Church should be enjoyed and not endured and that's why we take Fun seriously.
Intentional: We value relationships therefore we are passionate about investing in others as we Love God + Love People…Welcome Home.
Creative Team: Serves the house by supporting the Church through technology, web updates, and social media. The creative team also connects with our online family by interacting with viewers during our live Worship experiences! Through creativity, we tell a story by bringing to life visuals through a lens and online connections allowing people to see what God & the Church are all about, no matter where they are.
Worship Team: An innovative and energetic group of people who are passionate about creating an atmosphere of praise and worship that brings honor, adoration, and love to God.
First Impressions Team: This team serves as the face of our Church as they are at the forefront of connecting with people. They are the first people you meet when you arrive on campus serving from the street to the seat! Our First Impressions Team consists of Parking Team, Lobby Hosts, VIP and follow up.
Next Gen Team: We are committed to making good kids into great leaders by teaching biblical values in an energetic and creative environment every weekend! Our goal is to teach kids about Jesus on their level.
